Update bulk results upload guide to reflect HIV AOE changes
~blocked by #7455~
Why should we do this?
- The CSV Bulk Results Uploader guide will need to be updated to reflect the changes for supporting HIV results
User story
As a user of the CSV Bulk Results Uploader in the SimpleReport web application, I want to guidance available on how to upload CSV results for the same diseases that are available in single-entry so that I can accurately upload the data and ensure that it is properly categorized.
Action Requested
- [ ] Add a new guidance section for HIV AOE column
genders_of_sexual_partners - [ ] Add guidance that specifies
genders_of_sexual_partnersandpregnantbecome required fields if the row contains a positive HIV result - [ ] Add a new guidance section for
patient_gender_identity - [ ] Add guidance that distinguishes the existing
patient_genderas asking for sex assigned at birth andpatient_gender_identityas asking for the patient's gender identity - [ ] Update guidance to implement new figma designs
Acceptance Criteria
- New fields have been added to the guidance (
genders_of_sexual_partnersandpatient_gender_identity). Following existing patterns. patient_genderDescription updated to distinguish it from new gender identity field- New figma designs have been implemented
Additional Context
@jayna-SkylightDigital to provide copy for changes listed in AC
No longer blocked by #7455 but this still needs content for the guide
The tabs in the figma should be at the AOE header level, not per-field
for this ticket should we also update the heading to call out HIV? or do we not want to advertise this since not all STLTs accept it @jayna-SkylightDigital
@jayna-SkylightDigital do we have copy content available for the guidance sections this ticket would add?
@mpbrown Requested copy is below:
genders_of_sexual_partners
This field allows for the reporting of the genders of the patient's sexual partners. This information is crucial for understanding and tracking HIV transmission patterns.
Please use the following codes to indicate gender(s):
Female
Male
Nonbinary or gender non-conforming
Prefer not to answer
Transman
Transwoman
Multiple genders can be reported by separating the codes with commas (e.g., "Female,Male" for female and male partners).
patient_gender_identity
This field captures the patient's current gender identity. It's important to distinguish this from patient_gender, which refers to the sex assigned at birth.
Please use the following codes for patient_gender_identity:
Female
Male
Transwoman
Transman
Nonbinary or gender non-conforming
Gender identity not listed here
Prefer not to answer
Add to the existing "Required Fields" section:
In cases where the HIV test result is positive, the following fields become required: genders_of_sexual_partners and pregnant. This additional information is vital for public health surveillance and response efforts.
Moving to sprint backlog in case anyone else has bandwidth for this ticket sooner
For genders_of_sexual_partners, could we re-order the gender fields to match the order used in patient_gender_identity?
i.e. Female Male Transwoman Transman Nonbinary or gender non-conforming Gender identity not listed here Prefer not to answer
@DavidMcClatchey LGTM! Thank you for pairing with me on this.
