Product Health Metric: For reports that failed to send, the average time delay between when the report was supposed to send vs when it was actually sent

Open jack-h-wang opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

User Story

As a stakeholder, I want Metabase queries to surface product health metrics, so that I can gauge how well the product is performing its jobs.

Description/Use Case

We need metrics that measure the following: For reports that failed to send, the average time delay between when the report was supposed to send vs when it was actually sent

If there was an initial failure to send a report, we need to know, on average, how much time passes between the initial failure and when the report is successfully resent.

Dev Notes

Acceptance Criteria

  • [ ] Metabase (or other) queries exist to get this data
  • [ ] The queries have been integrated into the Product KPIs Dashboard

low priority, needs to be refined to switch from using metabase to using Azure events.

This will be trackable with the new Azure logging that was created around Sends, Retries, and Last Mile Failures
