I have the wrong undertale game version

I am using UNDERTALE from the physical copy I got from collector's edition. After unpacking ''UNDERTALE.exe'' to a folder the ''data.win'' file doesn't work when patching. For now I have no money to buy the steam version (I'm from a country where it isn't as cheap). What to do?
