Types node fix

@types/[email protected] drops support for typescript older 3.8 there is no reason to add this dependency on production - it is used only to build package

We haven't done the best job maintaining this! We're going to be making some upgrades soon, I've incorporated your PR into some of the new changes for the 5.0 release, sorry for ghosting you!
