having the exact same problem, it worked only once after installing and now every time I boot up the emulator / game I get this exact problem

alright I found a fix/workarround (maybe its the intended way idk at this point), just start your emulator and then boot mgs4 and once your ingame just start kami go...

oh my god I just spent half an hour fixing the codec call crash in Act 2 you were talking about, in the end I found a different solution but...

alright never mind after receiving the codec call from then on kami sadly keeps crashing the game
