[Question] Additional imlpementations
Hey,
When will all the new or "old" stuff be re-added to the mod? Is there any specific ETA or hopeful one right now?
The old stuff will be done through a different mod. https://github.com/BuiltBrokenModding/ICBM-Classic
It will actually be several mods, concrete and decorations will be military base decor. Radar will be re-added as a basic functionaliy, but will be re-implemented in a large mod dedicated just towards that feature. Redstone stuff will be re-added threw Addicted to red, which already has the detector block. Guns will be added to the armory mod.
Everything else in its original way will be recreated in the classic version as dmod already said. This will be a complete replication of the 1.6.4 version.
Ah, how long would that be (I know modders hate being asked this).
I was hoping maybe sometime mid June?
I have to pump out a pack version with some requirements for ICBM soon. -Power consumption. -Larger Missile stable. -ABMs or countermeasures. -Radar/tracking ability. -Maybe cooler textures?
Atleast i feel those things are necessary, im happy with the progress but those are critical to my pack. Keep up the good work and try your best to possibly get some of those things done sooner 👍
no clue, since this is not a job I have no ETA's and have found estimating them never works. I can say that large missiles will not happen anytime soon. As these will require so many backend features in order to function correctly. As these missiles are 60+ blocks tall and can remove kilometers of the map in one go. The ABMs and power will be next on my list to work on, right after the overhaul of VoltzEngine which I just started this week.
Textures are almost 100% dependent on the asset team.
Radar is already implemented and I'm waiting on radar dish models from the asset team.
