Opened this for riotX a while ago:: https://github.com/vector-im/riotX-android/issues/1497
A whitelist like mautrix-telegram has would be nice: https://github.com/tulir/mautrix-telegram/blob/master/mautrix_telegram/example-config.yaml#L316 That way allowing all users from my homeserver and some users from elsewhere would work.

Heh, is seems that this can happen via google ENF as well: https://github.com/corona-warn-app/cwa-app-android/issues/4407#issuecomment-977725175 Which makes this strictly a CWA bug... I think?

I tried updating this but in doing do noticed that openhub uses bugly, which as far as we know, is non free software (https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidserver/-/commit/bd96a17ef20ff7d29f7dffffad98be8feaf780ed) As this also is the case...
Fasthub libre very much works. It's my daily used github app.
