I doubt this extension is possible to implement with WebExtensions. If cliget still works for you, your Firefox did not switch to e10s yet, which it will soon do though....

I added a build script for it, but it's not yet enabled. It's available for custom builds though, if you want to test it.
Gonna leave this open until it gets fully enabled.
