Tu puedes usarlo por ejemplo si quieres archivar tus correos de una cuenta IMAP (cuando no tienes mucho espacio) en tu computadora local.

Esta extensión es una versión mejorada de otra extensión llamada "Autoarchive".
Mejoras:
- No solo archiva mensajes en la bandeja de entrada si no también otras carpetas como enviados. (Basura, papelera, plantillas, enviados pero es ignorado el de Archivados).
- Manejo de subcarpetas.
- Configura mensajes sin leer en forma separada (así como mensajes marcados y etiquetados).
- Mejora el manejo si los mensajes son marcados o etiquetados.
- Muestra la actividad en la ventana de actividades.
- Archivado vía menú o barra de herramientas.
- Puedes seleccionar si quieres archivar al iniciar Thunderbird o manualmente.
- Agrega (limitado) la posibilidad de archivar cuentas RSS (es limitado porque Thunderbird no tiene opciones para archivar ese tipo de cuenta, así que solo puede archivar con la configuración predeterminada).
