What happened?

The passkey popup does not show in order to use it.

You get the below image but you dont get the passkey popup and holding your finger does nothing.

Also there is no trigger by the browser to add to the passkey list of browsers.

I have a similar issue on my macos26 (mac air m4), could be related to PRF webauth, did some searching and found that firefox (did?) have support for it since 2024 (june) /mozilla/standards-positions/issues/798, also works fine with Proton Pass (which i use in browser) someplaces, and someplaces not (like discord, who support passkey) i would maybe try using bitwarden in browser and clicking "use hardware key" if the popup comes up, test it here. Well im commenting becouse i have the "same" issue, or webauth problems, +1.

Also an issue here - important for some of my colleagues. They're now looking for a different browser / going back to Firefox where this DOES work.

Agreed. This issue means that I can't sign in to some websites that I use a passkey on.

Worth noting, I have security.webauthn.enable_macos_passkeys in about:config set to true and it doesn't work.
