Communicating the Full Firefox ESR Release Number (Major, Minor, Patch)
In October Mozilla announced CVE-2024-9680. All Firefox versions were vulnerable until patched. I had friends and family cease using Waterfox until I could confirm Waterfox released a version built from ESR 128.3.1 with said patch.
Having searched through all of Watefox's about:about pages I don't see any place to retrieve the actual (Major, Minor, Patch) version number of the Firefox ESR used to build the version. If there is a ready means please share it.
The same of the build commit pages on Github E.G. https://github.com/BrowserWorks/Waterfox/commit/f68d7598ad7fa37ea53e035e91b0ab3a9f6f36a7
And even the docs release page doesn't indicate the (Major, Minor, Patch) version number. E.G.

Any ready means to discern the ESR (Major, Minor, Patch) version number used for Waterfox builds would be great. Thanks!
Go to about:debugging > This Waterfox.
Go to about:debugging > This Waterfox.
It is indeed there. Thanks.
Another way to see the underlying FF version on Windows is to view properties of waterfox.exe, and look at "product version" in the Details tab.
I agree that this info should be more readily available, both in the app and release notes. A related request would be to show release dates in the release notes.

Why?
There is a way to find, and thought it was enough. While it would be better to have it more easily seen, not sure it will be done.
