Cannot log into Twitch.tv

Open just-ero opened this issue 1 year ago • 9 comments

What happened?

I'm getting a "Your browser is not currently supported." message when trying to log into Twitch.tv. I've done some research and saw that this doesn't seem to be a new issue.
I've tried disabling all extensions and tried playing with the WebRTC setting. Thus far, nothing has worked for me.

I am using G6.0.19.

Reproducible?

I do not know what you're showing me. It does not work for me.

Would you like to elaborate instead of just reacting with a thumbs down? You're not being helpful whatsoever.

Waterfox is clearly not okay. Please stop needlessly putting a thumbsdown on my posts and comments.
If you don't have a solution, I would appreciate it if you let someone actually knowledgeable take over this issue. It's getting ridiculous.

Sorry @MrAlex94, maybe you can clear things up here.

This is twitchtv's fault.

Can confirm it, removing that browser until it is fixed.

This just started happening to me today. My Waterfox is fully up-to-date. It worked literally yesterday, and nothing has changed since then.

Edit: Okay after further testing it was the twitch adblock I use. Don't know why it suddenly started causing this.

I can't get twitch to let me log in now regardless of ublock origin on/off/disabled

It's likely user agent issues, comes and goes as the new ESRs become more common.

End of the week if things carry on testing well, v6.6 will release which should fix the issue

For what it's worth I tried spoofing my user agent to the latest firefox and still got that error.
