Auto-collapse sidebar to tab icons only

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The sidebar is great, I am loving it already. However, it takes up a rather large part of the left side of the screen showing all of the tab names.

Describe the solution you'd like Making the sidebar auto-collapse when it is not being hovered over with the mouse would be fantastic.

Describe alternatives you've considered Resizing the sidebar doesn't account for the text it attempts to render and also the X buttons on the tabs.

I'd like to add there is an auto-hide sidebar setting that one would assume to accomplish this request, however it appears to only work for the bookmarks and history sidebars.

To say that I'm spoiled by Edge's vertical tabs sidebar might be a bit of an understatement, but I think that Waterfox could get to that level. Even now in G6.0.10, the sidebar is already very impressive.

Another vote for sidebar collapse to icons. I've been able to hack it together on firefox with treetabs+userchrome.css hacks, but having it natively would be so much better.

I also managed to get an auto-collapse tab sidebar with userChrome.css, albeit not pixel-perfect and a bit buggy.

Here is my userChrome.css file. When used with appropriate Tree-Style-Tabs/Tabs-Sidebar styling, it produces something like this:

Hopefully this can be of help if someone also likes auto-collapsing sidebars! And I do hope Waterfox can eventually get auto-collapse sidebars, because it is really a life-safer when you don't have much space for the browser window.
