Waterfox Loses Signin for Firefox Sync

What happened?

Every week or two, I seem to end up signed out of my Firefox account on Waterfox and need to log back in in order to start syncing again. I've tried a few things to replicate it in a controlled manner (shutting down the browser, which I rarely do; restarting the computer), but haven't been able to trigger it intentionally-- it looks like it might be happening when I need to force shut down my computer with the browser open after it freezes though, as I had it happen again today when that occurred. I think it has happened outside of a crash, but can't be absolutely sure.
