Local addons search.
So this bar
can also be used for local addon management.
Just add some option like this:

Too bad you ditced it, because this would be the the best QOL improvement compared to original Firefox. Really don't understand, why it doesn't have it in a first place. Searching through many installed addons is a pain, and if I need some new one I just use google.

Do you see other Firefox forks (Floorp, LibreWolf, Mullvad, Zen, etc.) doing it? If not, then there's your answer.
Yes, but why? Local search was existing in much older versions, it is also a thing in Chrome. The answer is - devs today are lazy, am I correct?
Oh, I guess I can just "Ctrl F" in the addons page and search for the extension's name. Thx for the help (not really) :D It highlights all words on the page, rather than just names, but it is better than nothing.

Then use Google Chrome.

No, you're not. Devs just don't see any point in doing it.
Thx for the help
You're welcome :D
Sorry, this was caught in the trimming I was doing.
Shouldn't be too complicated but the only issue is as always, future maintainability depending on how I implement it.
I will say I'm disappointed how the conversation deteriorated - I think we could all benefit from being a bit kinder to each other; it wasn't an unreasonable request and even if it was meant to be closed it would just have been because I couldn't take on the work.
People shouldn't be afraid to ask for things and also shouldn't be disappointed if they can't be done, but for sure we shouldn't be making people feel bad either for asking why.
np, I just didn't know it was THAT problematic to make. Maybe it is something to do with this awful Quantum engine, and there is really no workaround... offtopic: I was just really pissed about interfaces and UX in general, it wasn't like this 8 years ago. Interfaces were informative and useful, even if they was a bit cumbersome. It's like every program tries to be minimalistic, but at the same time it acquires annoying and unnecessary functions - like AI stuff for example.
