right click copy image does not succeed

What happened?

When right clicking and selecting "copy image" I then go to any other program or look at the clipboard directly, and it is not there. If I perform another action such as, capture screen shot, it will end up there if "copy" is selected. At that point, right click copy image works if you use it. But then it breaks again fairly quickly and has to be poked this way to fix.

I have no plugins installed besides adblock plus. It happens at lots of sites, nothing out of the ordinary I don't think there were ads even there.

Is one such url where I experience this problem. Any of the images of the moon. I can get one, but no more, it breaks. Every paste thereafter is the same picture, no matter how many I tell it to copy.

Thanks for raising this - I have tried to reproduce on my Mac (Intel on 12.1) and cannot reproduce the behaviour you are stating. Are you on an Intel or M1 Mac? Could you open the browser console (cmd + shift + j) and then keep an eye on it while you try to copy some images, then copy and paste any errors that appear during that process (might be the case that nothing appears, which will make troubleshooting harder).
