Terribly High Resource Usage That Causes Lagging and Freezing

What happened?

First of all, thanks for maintaining Waterfox.

Waterfox Latest build has really high ram usage on Windows 10:

I had just two tabs opened and it was consuming 1GB of ram, constantly.

While with the same usage, Chrome was using around 300mb and it was decreasing, maybe because of the sleeping tabs.

To sum up, Waterfox is eating a lot of resources compared to Chrome and it has to be fixed asap.

Thanks for uploading the screenshot. If you open the browser in safe mode (App Menu -> Help -> Troubleshoot mode...) does this still occur to the same degree?

it seems like duckduckgo is causing waterfox to freak out. a single tab was using 1.4gb of mem
