Problem with sonoff basic tasmota 7.1
Hi! I'm having some trouble in making the device handler work, so far I've installed the tasmota device handler and the tasmota-power, both published. I add the sonoff basic and add the ip and it gets detected (all current states gets filled up) but the child "Switch" never creates. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
I have the same issue. It sees the module fine but will not spawn a switch for it.
I'm wondering if Tasmota changed the module type IDs that it uses with a later version of the firmware. This has happened before and had to recode stuff as a result.
I have the same issue. What I can notice is that the status in the Smartthings API device list is ACTIVE not ONLINE like other devices.
However I manged to get the device working using Alexa app and using the Hue bridge emulation.
Do not know is this info is helpful.
The one I'm trying to add is a sonoff S26 plug. It seems to have the right module number. This is what is displayed in smartthings online. module: 8 friendlyName: Tasmota version: 7.1.0(tasmota) topic: outdoor_tree_lights hostname: outdoor_tree_lights-3216
I can confirm that the same issue occurs for version 6.7.1 of Tasmota - Only the handler is visible in SmartSwitch app, but the actual switch never shows up. But both devices are visible in SmartSwitch API site.
Any update on this issue?
I have the same issue as reported above. Pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. Added a new sonoff with tasmota 7.1 and child device handler doesn't spawn. Any idea when this will be fixed?
