Feature request: Remember folder open state as a setting

Description of feature or change Right now, folders are closed when the app is opened. Some users may prefer for the folders to remain open between sessions. Another issue to consider is that at present, if a folder is opened on one window, it becomes open on all windows. I would want that to only occur if the user has this proposed setting enabled, as there cannot be different states saved.

Rationale The current experience is lacking and confusing.

This is actually slightly difficult since it will require some reworking of the server object since there was an old poor design in there.
