Am I correct in understanding that if I have 2FA enabled I will need to enter the OTP every time Homebridge resets?

I have two factor enabled on my Nest credential account. I do not need to enter a OTP password when Homebridge restarts (I have my instances recycle nightly). I only need to, once a month, put in a fresh access token.

Can you share how you're doing this? Its requesting the OTP every time it cycles for me. I
