When I try to start it shuts down instantly

So, yea. Whenever I try to open a latex file or just open texiteasy the window just blinks for a split second and then vanishes instantly.

I tried to update, then uninstall / install latest version. None helped.

Anybody knows how to fix this, please? Don't want to change the framework!

This is probably due to a specific latex file that makes the program fails. the latex file is repoen automatically every time. To avoid that you can rename the file that causes this so that it will not be opened automatically or delete the settings of texiteasy (it will regenerate a default one) located in the default settings location depending on your OS.

I tried to search for the settings file. I'm using windows 10 and since reinstalled the main folder, I looked elsewhere. Under C:/User/Username/AppData/Local and C:/User/Username/AppData/Roaming I found TexitEasy and deleted both but the programm still closes itself instantly.

Do I need to look elsewhere? How can I see what file causes the problem?

Oh that's weird. There's no other config files so now no files is being opened. Honestly I don't know what can cause this. Maybe you can use a debugger to know which function is causing this?
