Adjust marker transparency based on distance

Open chuiu opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

It would be nice to be able to configure how transparent markers are based on how close I am to them. For on screen and on the mini-map. I can see a few configs for this:

Near: The distance you want objects to have the following transparency level Near transparency: The level of transparency from 0-100 that you want anything 'near' or closer to appear

Far: The distance you want objects to have the following transparency level Far Transparency: The level of transparency from 0-100 that you want anything 'far' or further to appear

And it would be nice to scale the transparency between the two points. So if I chose 0 transparency for near and 100 for far, something halfway between those two points would be around 50% transparency. This would allow people to hide faraway markers to reduce screen clutter. Or alternatively they could entirely hide nearby markers to make it easier to see objects around you or on the mini-map.

Thank you for your work on this amazing tool.

I so too would like to be able to hide markers x meters away from me. Right now my screen looks crazy in a new map with all the collections enabled.
