Would it be possible to add so pins animate from point to point when you pan/zoom the map - not only jump to the new place like they do now.

that would be a nice improvement, but needs quite a lot refactoring. won't happen soon i guess, sry.

That's part of my rewrite which works on a completely different way as the current code. I will look to make some progress on this on the holidays.
