Poor resolution of pdf using Retina Display

Open ruizanthony opened this issue 12 years ago • 3 comments

Opening a pdf inside eclipse with pdf4eclipse on a macbook pro with retina display gives a very poor preview of the document (text is hard to see). The document looks very nice using other external pdf viewers such as skim or preview. Is there a way to increase the resolution of the pdf preview inside eclipse?

Hi ruizanthony, did you ever find a solution to this issue? I'm facing it on my Mac with OSX 10.9 and Eclipse Kepler. Please let me know. Thanks

Hey,

No I didn't. I'm using an external pdf viewer instead (skim) instead. Switching between eclipse and skim is not that bad :)

I'm using an external viewer (Apple Preview actually) too, but it is a shame that pdf4eclipse is not updated to work for retina display. Thanks for your reply anyway!
