Cannot install mac .dmg on Mac Book Pro with M1 chip

Current behavior

When I open the app, Boostnote just shows a black window without any buttons and UI. Essentially, there is no way for me to use it.

Has anyone found a way to get this to work? Tried installing it on a fresh M1 Mac and got the same blank window 2021-12-1 o 22 12 24 .

Hi,

are you installing the latest application?

Can you try opening the console tab in the app (by going to developer tools, Ctrl+Shift+I, or Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I shortcut)

For me this was because on first load it was taking ages to download the main js file and there is no loading screen.

Perhaps a loader explaining the first boot is loading would help users.
