[FEATURE REQUEST] Additional CD audio codec support
Ogg Vorbis is great to have, but I feel like more alternatives are still a good thing to have.
For example, I'm making a mod that adds back in the cut tracks for Final Doom (read here if you curious), but was disappointed that only Ogg Vorbis was supported. I would have greatly preferred to use Flac or even Wav as I don't like converting music into a lossy format.
I understand that adding support for formats such as MP3 is not fun to implement due to extra dependencies and licensing woes, but surely Flac and Wav would be fine, right? Doesn't PsyDoom already handle waveform audio for the tracks that are Redbook audio?
Edit: Now that I think about it, could the Redbook audio tracks for the disc image used to run PsyDoom be compressed to Flac as well? Saving extra space would be a nice bonus.
