Please enable to turn background off

Hi, it's really annoying not to be able to turn the background off, it kills immersion.

Could you please do something about it ?

Your work is so great, but this issue is really killing it. On my pimax crystal with local dimming, the border of the game screen is always gray even in dark scene.

Was looking for this option too. The skybox is really distracting and turning that off and only have a black backround would be very nice. Why isn't this an option?

Just came on here to suggest the same thing. My eyes are often drawn to the background image and it pulls me out of the game. Please add an option for a completely black background.
