Framepacking resolution

Open xmedia-systems opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Is it possible to let the game render at e.g. 1920x1080 but force the output to be "top bottom" at framepacking resolution (1920 x 2205 24Hz). Are there other options to get 3D without loss of resolution? Thank you!

It's possible. But, I can't send the proper output to your screen since the shader can't control this within ReShade.

ok, so a shader can't control the resolution, right? would you say a patch for ReShade can help or is there a fundamental problem? I'm curious why nobody has tried it before - except for loss of resolution Depth3D + ReShade is a perfect and open replacement for proprietary 3dtv or tridef, which all seem to be abandoned
