Companion app doesnt enter 3D sbs mode in Elden Ring + geo3d
Hi, I'm trying to use the companion app in Elden Ring, but the app refuses to enter into SBS 3D mode. I keep pressing right control but it does nothing. I also tried cyberpunk 2077 with geo3d, it seems the app only responds to r ctrl when it is ingame, during the start menus it just ignores the command.
Strangely all other keys work, for example moving and zooming the screen and resetting view.
Using windows 10, rx vega 56, and oculus rift cv1 with the latest drivers, in oculus vr mode.
The companion app is depreciated and is only there till a replacement is made.
Ya, Not sure what's causing that issue. But, this should be fixed when the replacement is made.
When will that be?
Can we make feature requests for it?
- Ability to lock the screen to your head. Great for fake VR mode when mapping head to camera movement via trackir or mouse.(Similar to Virtual Desktop)
1b. Ability to choose which axis is locked to head, Yaw pitch or roll.
E.g (I have a motion rig and I would like to be able to have the screen turn with me (yaw) but still have pitch and roll free to look up and down.
-
Default background should be pitch black.
-
If possible a separate floating UI to control the screen adjustments with a VR controller
-
Allow motion controls to adjust the screen position curve, grab corners to resize etc. (similar to VD)
-
This would be huge, ability to bring up reshade as a separate floating UI instead of being forced to use the normal screen based one.
This would help in VR when trying to dial in settings while in SBS VR mode.
As it is currently the reshade menu sits atop the image and can even be included in the SBS causing you to have to close one eye to use it.
I will try to implement each one it's doing the optical flow frame interpolation has been delaying things but pretty sure we have it working now. So hopefully hopefully will release the desktop software first and then the VR software in the second phase.
Yeah it's good that you tell me what features you want now because when making the application we can take them into consideration.
