Selecting SuperEllipsoids in Establish Shape types causes synthetic generation to fail.

The user had generated 2D statistics instead of 3D statistics which caused the silent failures. Additional checks should be made somewhere in the filters. Some ideas to help the user would be:

Add functions to validate the statistics (2D or 3D) Initialize Synthetic Volume should add some sort of warning if the Z thickness is not at least a few grains thick Detect presence of 2D only statistics. (Missing Omega3 values?)
