Window box shadow blinks in time with the cursor

Hey, been using both the mobile and desktop clients for BB for a while. I've been ignoring this for a while but I figure, hey they might not realize its a thing so might as well bring it up.

Sometimes, when opening the BB desktop app, the entire window's box shadow will blink at the same tempo and in time with the cursor. It's not a huge deal but it can be very distracting and quite annoying.

Hard to reproduce. I've seen it happen in the following scenarios at least once:

  • window is already open and focused:
    • a notification from another chat comes in and you click on the notification
    • you manually switch to another chat
    • you click out of the window and back into it
  • window is open but not focused
    • opening the app via clicking on a notification
    • alt-tabbing into the window and then clicking on the message box
    • mousing over the window and clicking on the message box
  • window is closed
    • opening the window via taskbar
    • opening via notification
    • opening via icon on the top panel

I tried recording it when it last happened but I'm guessing the mixture of clicking other things and then re-focusing the window caused it to stop
