[1.18.2] "Tesselating block model" crash from fluid pipe?

How did it happen?

This occured when we teleported into an area containing Immersive Engineering structures using waystones. (We haven't tried loading chunks by walking to it or flying)

I haven't really figured this one out yet so I'm going to attempt it here first since it's saying fluid pipe could be cause of crash but also specifically mentions block being chipped?

at first glance not related, but try without rubidium and its related mods (occulus, etc.)
