[Question] Blast Furnace roasting recipes

Open Invincible92 opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

Hi there

I'm opening this issue due to the doubt of the new Blast Furnace functionality. Are the roasting recipes of the Blast Furnace hard-coded for the fluid outputs? I mean, given the recipe (for instance) of spharelite dust + 3000L of oxygen => zincite dust + tiny pile of ashes + 1000L of sulfur dioxide, are these 1000L of SO2 not being able to be modified via GTTweaker? If not, could this fluid output be allowed to be modified via GTTweaker?

Pinging @JohannesGaessler due to being the one that did the changes.

The recipes are not hard-coded like the old Bronze Blast Furnace recipes were. I expanded the interface for adding Blast Furnace recipes by allowing Fluid output. Presumably GTTweaker only covers recipes without Fluid output, and the required functionality has not yet been implemented.

Is the "fluid" (gas) extracted from the muffler hatch?

No. Fluids are still put out via Output Hatches. However, the Muffler Hatch tier influences the efficiency at which CO2/SO2 can be recovered.
