Please Resurrect The Best Sound module foundry has!! (V12 update!)
It worked until V11 but now it doesn't play!
Just the best module for fast sounds, easy to set, works in multiple words without need to import massive amounts of files by hand!
just the best!
I imagine it is a lot of work... but to let it go like that is just a shame!
up
Agreed. An update would be very appreciated.
Hey, thanks for the interest. My D&D group disbanded, and I've not touched Foundry in some time. I have already archived some of my other modules, and plan to archive more of them. Struggling to let this one go fully though, as I keep telling myself I might come back to it - but weeks turned into months turned into years.
I am happy for someone more active to take over if there is interest. I may pick this back up at some point, but it is unlikely to be any time soon as I have other projects I'm working on, and have my wedding and honeymoon just around the corner.
Congratulations my Friend!!!! Amazing!!!
Gaming is just for fun! You are building a family!!! much more important!!!!

What do you do with this?
Extract the folder, take the "SoundBoard" folder and place it in your modules folder (assuming you self-host), if you're struggling to find the modules folder - open foundry go to settings in the top right before launching a world, and copy the directory in user data path, then close foundry.
If you have the old version of SoundBoard by Blitz installed, then you'll need to replace the existing files, if not no prompt should occur. Launch foundry and it should now be listed within your modules and functioning once activated in your world 👍

My stuff is hosted by The Forge. I need step by step on what to do with that URL. I tried to figure it out on my own and used the Import Wizard which did not seem to do anything. The MOD still broken.

Never used the forge as a DM. The link itself is just a download to the module, which you will likely need to download onto your personal PC and then upload to the forge. Here's a link to their tutorial page on uploading custom files: https://forums.forge-vtt.com/docs?topic=10510

Thank you for that. As my game is hosted by The Forge. The steps I took to get the Mod working again were to uninstall the mod. Download the Zip Folder. Use the Wizard as shown in that URL making sure to uncheck to check the Bazaar for the mod. Selecting the Zip Folder and allow it to install. This got it to work just as it had before. :)
Is that fix in this thread still working for someone with the latest v12 build of Foundry (331)? I'm pretty sure it worked when I tried it earlier but now the button in the Playlists tab is just missing for me. I've been using Find the culprit to see if there seems to be a compatibility issue somewhere but no. :(
@MagrothJ to my knowledge it appears on the Ambient sound controls, I didn't remember it on the Playlist Tab..
in any case I mostly use this macro:
SoundBoard.openSoundBoard() //SoundBoard.openSoundBoardBundled() //SoundBoard.openSoundBoardFav()
//When it's open, you can use SoundBoard.openedBoard.close(), SoundBoard.openedBoard.minimize() and SoundBoard.openedBoard.maximize()
Oh I'm sorry, I guess I remembered completely wrong. It works. Thanks so much. :)
It would be nice to find someone to adopt this module sice blitz is occupied and no longer havr the time, at least until he is back.
Yes I agree completely.

Could you reshare this file? I see people saying it solved their problem. I would love to get this great module working again!
@Andervall
I'm uploading the version I currently use. I believe it's the same, but keep in mind—this one doesn't work with the new V13.

Thank you! It works fine! I still use V12, so this is great! Thank you again!
I made a post for how it works in V13 now, and it probarly fixes the same issues as here. The render part helped me find the errors, so thank you @jacksands
