Playlists do not work at all

After connecting to my subsonic server (based on the latest release of gonic) there are no playlists visible in the sidemenu.

I am able to create playlists in MusicBee and they get synced to the subsonic server, but no songs are synced. It's basically just the empty playlist. There are not playlist updates logged on the subsonic server, so the source of the problem must be MusicBee or this plugin.
