Problem playing song in MB from ampache

Open roelWuyts opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug I can successfully connect to Ampache and browse my music but when I try to play any song I get an error in MB 'The source file for track could not be found'. is whatever the currently playing track was from my local filesystem.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Subsonic menu'
  2. Expand 'music'
  3. Expand one of artists
  4. Click on an album. Tracks are shown in Tracks
  5. In Tracks, select a track and try to play it (not a single track works)
  6. Opens up dialog mentioned before that track cannot be foun

Expected behavior I expect the track to play (it plays in webbrowser

Screenshots See attached screenshot of dialog box. I was playing a song before that is available locally

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • MusicBee 3.5.8698 P (portable version)
  • MB_SubSonic 3.1
  • Ampache 6.4.0 running locally (on wsl)

Additional context MB_SubSonic is connecting via username/password (cannot get the token to work - not sure what needs to be specified).

Ping test in the dialog works and log file for ampache shows this as well: 2024-05-10T18:19:19+00:00 [ampache] (Ampache\Module\System\Dba) -> Database connection... 2024-05-10T18:19:19+00:00 [admin] (Ampache\Module\Api\Subsonic_Xml_Data) -> API success in function ping-1.16.1

When selecting a CD in the Subsonic tracks are listed correctly and log file for ampache shows this: 2024-05-10T18:20:10+00:00 [ampache] (Ampache\Module\System\Dba) -> Database connection... 2024-05-10T18:20:10+00:00 [admin] (Ampache\Module\Api\Subsonic_Xml_Data) -> API success in function getmusicdirectory-1.16.1

When clicking in the tracks or when trying to play, nothing is shown in the Ampache log
