🐛 [BUG] - Intel 7265 Bluetooth non-functional in Bliss OS 16.9.7 build 20241011
Description
When using a device with an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 Rev D Wi-Fi & Bluetooth module, Bluetooth isn't functional with Bliss OS 16.9.7 build 20241011. It worked fine with the previous build (20240911).
Device used: Toshiba Portege Z20t-B Wi-Fi works fine.
I didn't try other Bluetooth modules, so can't tell whether it's an issue with this particular module or Bluetooth in general.
Reproduction steps
1. Live boot (or install) Bliss-v16.9.7-x86_64-OFFICIAL-gapps-20241011
2. Open settings, try to enable Bluetooth and search for Bluetooth devices
3. See error: Bluetooth remains off, Bluetooth address isn't displayed, no Bluetooth devices are found
4. Repeat with Bliss-v16.9.7-x86_64-OFFICIAL-gapps-20240911. Bluetooth is working fine there.

Hi Maurice, have you got the chance to try another bluetooth module or software fix since you posted the issue? I recently installed Bliss-Go-v16.9.7-x86_64-OFFICIAL-foss-20241011 working super smooth but Bluetooth isn't working, haven't tried the audio to check if I also have that bug. Would you recommend going to the Bliss15 with Android 12L for better stability?
@M8anu My current workaround is staying on the previous build (20240911) where Bluetooth works fine. I haven't tried other BT modules.
Hoping for a fix in future builds. Thanks to the live boot features, new builds can easily be tested without having to update the existing installation.
Then I will be rolling back to the working version as I am loving it with my Asus T300 Chi but can't use the bluetooth keyboard associated to it; BlissOS is definitely a game changer coming from any Linux distro, not to even mention Windows... Thank you kindly Maurice
I have same issue. I tried use USB bluetooth. Not worked. Waiting for Bluetooth worked on the new builds.
Bliss OS 16.9.7 has no functional Bluetooth. OS 15 is functional. All things said Bliss OS is a game changer!
Bliss OS 16.9.7 build=20240911 worked for me. Thank you everyone.
Bliss OS 16.9.7 build=20240911 worked for me. Thank you everyone.
Great. I'll give that a try. Thanks 👍
can you test BTLINUX_HAL=1 in android.cfg?
