After flashing the US version: "An error occurred. Improv Wi-Fi Serial not detected"
After I flash the US version. I get Congratulation. I press the button. it try to connect and I get: "An error occurred. Improv Wi-Fi Serial not detected" I try to connect the device to 5v or to power supply fully connected but it looks breaked. any suggestion ?
"An error occurred. Improv Wi-Fi Serial not detected" is not a issue , it works only if you have Wi-Fi Serial adapter
try to use the direct power from the device attachment , if it works then you may be using wrong pins connect the power

It does not power on after flashing. Not with connecting 5v and ground and not with build up and connecting to 120v.
If flash is ended and I get confirm with congratulation then it means flash is succeeded?
Ok. With 5v attached. Use some ipscanner and see what ip you are getting. The device name will be shown there. If there is no device then the firmware has not flashed properly
one more thing. When compiling the firmware. What was the file name format. Was is just nspanel.bin or nspanel-factory.bin

I did not compile any files. I just followed the wiki and the video.

I did step by step. But nothing need to compile. Just copy the tft us version into www directory.
You mean to say you did not create the yml file?
I added the yml page with my WiFi SSID/PWD + path. this is what you mean compiling ?
as said I went step by step as the YouTube/Wiki state. after I press the Congratulation button I get this WiFi error.
I assume it was flashed properly, else the percentage would not go up.
but once connect to 5V or power supply the device does not come up.
just to be clear ,
did you follow all these steps
on the 3 dots choose INSTALL.
Then choose Manual Download.
Then choose Modern format.
then you should get this as per the screenshot, this is called compiling of the firmware. if this is done the complier will download a file called something like this nspanel-factory.bin in your browser. ( Filename is based on the yml file you created. in this example my yml file name is nspanel so i will get the firmware file as per my example ) this is the file you need to upload it to the device using Esphome web flasher. https://web.esphome.io/
I haven't seen that. I followed the YouTube step by step. Thanks a lot, will try that.
