This is from Better Alarm that no longer maintained/showed me in the Store 😭
This could indeed be a very good idea.
On the other hand, I don't want categories like "Work", "Sport" or whatever, but simply color names that the user can choose to apply from the expanded alarm view.
I also think that this setting in the expanded alarms view should be hidden by default and be able to be displayed with a setting in the Alarms settings.
