Add it to ~/.config/compton.conf ``` spawn-center = false transition-length = 150 ``` There is also a confirmed issue if you don't have `backend = "glx"`

Unfortunately not, currently the only solution is to disable size transitions entirely.

I've never seen transparent pixels before. Could you provide a screencast of the issue?

The instruct thing appears to have been fixed as of a few months ago. It used to be occasionally useful with quiver dance Lilligant.

Not really. I got it to state where it works for me and shared it in hopes that I'd be useful to others; I didn't expect it to blow up...

I am not familiar with asciidoc, but it looks like it is using xmllint (which is like grep for xml), and this is failing on your system for some reason....

I would also have to sort out the transparent holes issue with the xrender backend, and possibly ditch the scale animation feature.
