Add option to prefer left sidebar when scaling down

Installed version 0.0.18 today (thank you!), but I've run into a few issues:

  1. Display settings and GoodTwitter 2 settings have disappeared…nothing shows up on the left sidebar when I go to my Twitter settings now. It did when I first installed GT2, but as soon as I changed the sidebar size to small (ticked the box), when I went back to my settings a bit later, now nothing shows up on far left to access those settings - can't undo that change or change anything else.

  2. Profile still sitting on right side when on the Home page – sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s always on the right.

  3. No ability to change colors – when I was able to see my settings, I went to Display and there is no drop down menu (as you specified in a tweet to someone), it just shows the New Twitter color choices and the three themes (light, medium and dark).

I followed the install instructions on the GoodTwitter2 github page to a tee.

I am on Windows 7 32-bit, and have Firefox 56.02 32-bit

I think I already fixed that issue. Please update.

Your profile should only show up on the right side if you do not have space for 3 columns. Are you using a smaller screen? Please send a screenshot of this behaviour on the latest version.

You can change your colors in the settings you mention. There are no extra color settings for the script, it recognizes when you click on a new color. The dropdown menu in the navbar (with your avatar on it) has a display settings option which also works, you can use either.

Display Settings: Ok, I found that I had to play around with the zoom size. At 80% zoom, the settings show up. The Display settings from the dropdown menu in navbar weren't showing up unless zoomed down to 80% too, since it sits at the bottom of the menu and it was getting cut off.

Profile on Right Side: Yes, I have a small screen (square shaped older monitor)...I have it set to 1280 x 800 resolution on landscape. When I zoom down to 80%, my profile then will show up on the left.

Color Settings: Oh, I thought there were additional colors that were added with the script. Sorry, I misunderstood. I can access and change the 6 colors Twitter gives you.

Right Sidebar: I didn't mention this in my original bug report above, but the "What's Happening", "Who to Follow", and "Trending" shows up on the right sidebar (even if I zoom down to 80% or less), but I thought all that was moved to the left? Can it be moved to the left like it used to be on Legacy where it sits below the profile? I prefer to have my tweet feed sitting on the right like it did before. This would make it just two columns of course, which I also prefer so there is less "noise" on the page, and my tweet feed is larger that way too, but not sure how others feel about that. I know it's hard to please everyone. ;)

Thanks again for all of your hard work on this! Really, I'm just happy that there is a background color separating the columns like it was on Legacy. That in itself makes things look so much better. And I'm happy with the navbar being across the top again too. :)

The What’s Happening / Trends boxes can be moved by enabling Left Sidebar Trends in the GT2 Settings.

~~Who to follow was never on the left side.~~ It makes sense now that I know you use a smaller screen size. I will change the leftSidebarTrends function to completely prefer the left side when there is less space available!

Thanks for your kind words :)

I do have the "Left Sidebar Trends" enabled, and no matter what I am zoomed at, it all is still on the right. Sounds like it was a "small screen" issue though...thanks for making that change, which I presume will be on v.19. I'm actually adjusting alright to how things are now, but it will be nice to have a choice to move What's Happening & Trends over or keep it as it is. :) Thanks again!
