pretty sure thats exactly how it used to be. banners are 1500x500

Hm, I think making the banners smaller would result in a lot of banners looking broken... Since they all show up in the correct dimensions (3:1) when using the default layout.

I'm guessing your screen resolution is 21:9 or even wider so I get where you're coming from. For now I have no good ideas on how to solve this issue without removing the 3:1 ratio... Maybe add a max width, so it cuts the sides off when the screen is very wide?
