How to specify ESP32 the static IP and gateway of WiFi

You can do this from your router. Find the device and assign it a static IP in the DHCP settings. Can't really give step-by-step instructions since it differs a lot by the router. But this way you can set a static IP for any device on your LAN/WAN.
