New Frontend design
Hey, I was advised to create an issue before making major changes and to discuss this with you. I'm currently planning to simply redesign the frontend (web only). A more modern design and, above all, a dark mode. The frontend is written in React and it would only be a design change. What do you think? I would then create a PR when I am happy with my changes.
hi @RealMarvn if you go to settings you can enable dark mode. What other design changes did you have in mind?
Hey! oh I missed this completely I am sorry. I was thinking of moving settings, buy crypto, summary and manage Device into a navbar and removing the list of accounts on the left completely. You should be able to pick each Account from the summary and add a favorite account to a second navigation underneath the navbar. I will send you a screenshot of what I mean as soon as I am able to.
Feel free to send screenshot/mockup with a proposal. But please don't spend time implementing and be aware that we are currently planing to improve the navigation on mobile and replace the hamburger with bottom navigation. This may conflict.
@RealMarvn btw what's up with your website?

Sure I was thinking about something like that. The bar underneath the navigation does only act as a favlist where you can add some coins as a fav. I would reuse your chart component and maby rearrange the buttons for changing the duration. I would also like to add a search bar for the accounts but haven't added it to the design yet. Maby you like the design. If you're planning to overhaul certain aspects anyway, you could also add some of these ideas if you find them useful.

Oh yeah I just bought this new domain a few weeks ago and didn't set it up yet. I have already done my DNS but didn't set Nginx and all my certs up to work with it yet. Gonna work on it soon.
I like the current UI, to be honest. But I use the BTC-only BitBox. It’s very easy to understand for a first-timer, which I assume is the idea. I know I could point my relatives to it if something happened to me, because it’s extremely straightforward.
I just wish the history section were a bit more compact (though I have Electrum for that), and that the graph offered more options, like showing real gains/losses, for example.
