Feature Request: Fee increase option (RBF)

Sometimes it is useful (even necessary) to increase the fee afterwards.

Any news on this? As fees become more volatile and harder to predict this was a desirable feature 3 years ago but has become a must-have by now...

No news as of now, it's still somewhat a lower priority to other features as we (surprisingly) do not receive many reports of problems with underpaying fees. We are definitely tracking this though and might add this feature in the future.

As a workaround, the BitBox02 also works with Sparrow, Electrum etc., which do support RBF and can be used to bump the fee of a transaction, even if it was initiated in the BitBoxApp.
