[FEATURE]: Consistent window sizing shortcuts
Summary
Currently window sizing shortcuts get mutated by the split layout / window position.
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen
Shortcuts should behave as their description states by default. Alternatively this should be an option.
In a simple scenario with 2 windows split side by side and trying to resize the right window the shortcuts get reversed. meta+ctrl+h will increase the window size meta+ctrl+l will decrease its size. Which are supposedly intuitive / natural directions for such a split layout. But for me the inconsistency throughout programs makes it unintuitive.
Staying true to the default mappings in scope of this fr - the desired behavior is: meta+ctrl+l always increases the size of a window meta+ctrl+h always decreases the size of a window.
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
Many programs allow to map increase / decrease window size shortcuts and they won't change by situation. It would be great to be able to keep more consistency with bismuth so window resizing direction don't change throughout programs.
Additional info
Maybe this is related. #346
Of course this feature is only speaking for myself and people how think alike. Some might like the behavior as it is, so probably an option would be great if you consider an implementation.
In any case bismuth is a great piece of work already. Kudos to the devs 🙏!
