[Bug]: Top gap dissapears after maximizing a window with Latte's floating gap

Open Gemmstone opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Summary

Latte has a feature that makes a floating gap, like this image And when i maximize that window looks like this: image The problem is that when going back, the gap stays like in the second image, so it keeps touching the dock: image

It's fixed after something else updates the layout, like a new window opening, a change of virtual desktop or a resize of a window.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set a screen edge margin on latte
  2. Activate "Hide floating gaps for maximized windows"
  3. Set margin gaps on bismuth
  4. Maximize a window
  5. Restore it back

Expected behavior

For it to look like this when it's restored back image

Bismuth version

2.2.0-1

KDE Plasma version

5.23.5

The platform KWin is running on

Additional context

Maybe it would fix it for it to check again after a window is restored after a second more or for it to have a configurable delay before updating the layout
