BTC Balance Zero

Actual behavior:

Balance in the wallet provided address should reflect the balance of the address on the blockchain bc1qgxs6twn77la83p03hknlre42xlefq8n0swad2x

Expected behavior:

Balance is zero

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

Open the DeFi wallet app 2.9.1 on OS X, tap balances.

What are your environment parameters?

  • DeFiCh/app Version: 2.9.1
  • Operating System (OS): OS X 12.1 – RAM (GB): 16 GB – CPU (Intel Core i5/i7/etc.): m1
  • Current free storage capacity: 400 GB

Hi @putorti , can you try this:



1. Restart app 2. In CLI type spv_rescan 672683 3. Type spv_syncstatus to make sure that scanning is progresses from block 672,683 and above. All Bitcoin TXs in the wallet will be in a Bitcoin block above that height.

@putorti please try again and wait until the current is equal to the estimated value in the spv_syncstatus result. It will not be able to find your TX until it hits block 719,859.

If that does not work then please stop the client, go to the DeFiChain data directory and delete the spv folder and also delete the spv.log file. Then start the client and wait for the current value in spv_syncstatus to match the estimated value.

If this also fails then please share here the spv.log file which will be recreated on the new sync.
