Draft decision needed auto-notification and reminder button needed

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently, when a revised manuscript comes in, we have to manually email the assigned section editors to request their draft decision. We do this very often, so a solution to automate this would really help to speed things up.

Describe the solution you'd like It would be really useful to a) add a feature that lets you auto-request a draft decision from the assigned editors, so that whenever a manuscript is resubmitted it automatically emails the editors to request they log a draft decision; and b) add a reminder button to the peer review page so that when a manuscript is resubmitted, as well as the option to 'View' this (as at present) there is also the option to 'Request Draft Decision'. Being able to amend template emails for these would be very helpful as we can add further detail on the process there to help the section editors.

Describe alternatives you've considered The alternative is to continue to do this manually as at present, getting each of the section editor's email addresses and emailing them outside of JW, which isn't ideal, as it would be good to have these requests logged and sent via JW as well.

Suggested tweaking the notification email for the first part. For the second part:

• As an editor, I can cofigure an automated reminder email that is sent N days past the date of revision requests being submitted if no new decisions have been set/drafted.

Section editors are automatically sent a notification once the author completes the requested revisions, however the default email template is not very descriptive. You can edit the email template here: https://olh.openlibhums.org/manager/settings/group/email/setting/revisions_complete_editor_notification/?email_template=true

In the template, you can indicate to the section editor that they should submit a new draft decision.

As for the reminder email, we are thinking of adding a configurable reminder after N days are past since the revisions are submitted, rather than requiring a button press, does that sound OK?

Thanks for this @mauromsl . That sounds great and a configurable reminder for this would be really useful - yes please! I've also updated the email template for this as suggested to include a prompt for the editor to submit their draft decision asap. Thanks again :)
