My opinion on this is somewhat split. First of all, what I think is wrong with this, is that this technically breaks page-scrolling. However, this might be a fair trade-off....

When contributing to a project, you should consider not unnecessarily changing formatting and separating your changes with different commits and PRs. This allows the maintainer to reduce their own overhead...
You are missing the point of my comment ^^ Either way, I am not the maintainer and that was just a friendly tip.
Sorry, but I am not a fan of this ^^ I wouldn't mind more responsive design though.
